'Kirky Boy' is another of those rare, almost eccentric brilliant acoustic guitarists. He is also one of the finest singer songwriters, a man with an incredible spirit and soul.
We first met at an Acoustica night in Littlebrough near Rochdale, and he subsequently played on my first three albums: Passion and Conflict, Global, and Brilliant Words.
A gig with Kirky Boy is never the same as the last due to the high improvisation count ... free spirited wonderment aplenty! Indeed, one of the highlights of the Global concert came when he and flddler Fluff 'jammed out' during the song Cuckoo.
