Hope this occasional newsletter finds you and yours well and happy despite the difficult times. I guess it's fair to say that during thick and thin, we still gotta pursue a reason for being. And who gives a monkey's bum if big business is having a bad time anyway ... poorer people will still suffer, whether they lap it all up or not.

 Not only a live performance, but a presentation and informal workshop on the art of songwriting in it's most honest, organic form. There's free refreshments and in-store Starbucks, tickets @ £2 refundable against in-store purchase.

Borders Books in Birstall (that's near Batley, West Yorks btw) has always been a good place for me to play and make new friends. And it's time for a return, so as part of their Autumn season of events I've been invited back in-store.
'Songbook' is the title of this particular event, a 3 set live session looking at organic songwriting through discussion and live performance, with a little quaestion and answer, plus of course free refreshments and optional in-store Starbucks.
In particular I look forward to playing a few new things in open tuning, and generally enjoying that person to person vibe.
