eve party for tramps (backed by an orchestra of party squeakers) or
the good old 12 Bar Club, playing live is what we do best."
“It
is live where MOSES’ manifesto of entertainment marks them out
as leagues above their Oh so samey, oh so sad peers” - ATTITUDE

Saturday
July 2nd - Dust . £3
Dust is a five piece band from the area who really knows what its like
to carry so much talent. You could describe this outfit in so many genres
and usually in one song! The eclectic balance within the band is head
and shoulders above some of the bands that carry that “signed”
label. I guess after the success they have already gain from this mammoth
task in the National Battle of the Bands competition that record deal
shouldn’t elude them for long. The outstanding strength within
the band exists around the maturity and depth in the sound, and live
performance which is bred from the individual musical and song writing
abilities of the band. Dust play effortlessly live to make the whole
gig feel comfortable and smooth. It’s only when you take a step
back from the surreal and face the realistic edge you see just what
the musicianship is to make it work so well.

Saturday
July 9th - Karma plus very special guests £3
Meditation on the nature of zen would be a tough cookie to ascribe to
a soundtrack at the best of times and if there were such a thing it
might involve lots of mystical business with thumb cymbals and Chinese
gongs. Lucky then that Manchester based Karma have arrived on the scene
to lend a hand to proceedings. Think swirling guitars and melodic basslines
wrapped around an ever-spinning collage of tripped out post - blues
and unashamed crowd-pleasing rock. think of a timid monk in deepest
Tibet jumping to his feet to catch the beat. Think Karma. This youthful
four Piece are a fresh faced assault on all rock has allowed itself
to becomewith nods to the likes of Hendrix , Cream, Free and Family,
Karma manage to possess in their own unique sound anantidote to the
manufactured quick fix pop rock that is stifling real talent. You need
to believe in Karma. What you give is what you get. From Manchester
With Love.
